Group Health Cooperative is a nonprofit health care system that provides both medical coverage and care. Headquartered in Seattle, Washington, Group Health includes the Northwest’s largest health maintenance organization (HMO); an associated 1,231 physician group practice; state-of-the-art hospitals and medical centers; a point-of-service (POS) plan; a charitable foundation; and Group Health Center for Health Studies.

Founded in 1947, Group Health is the nation's second largest consumer-governed, health care system.
