Jennifer Nelson, PhD
Assistant Investigator

Research Interests:
Dr. Nelson is a biostatistician involved in vaccine preventable infectious disease and cardiovascular disease research. Her interests include 1) study design and analysis of rater agreement, 2) methods to account for residual confounding bias in observational studies, and in particular, observational studies of influenza vaccine effectiveness in the elderly, 3) sequential monitoring of observational data for drug safety, and 4) statistical applications in infectious diseases, cardiovascular epidemiology, and aging.
